Associate Prof. Kohri featured in the NHK International TV program
A science program "Science View" on NHK WORLD-JAPAN featured Associate Professor Michinari Kohri's research on structural colors. There are many birds and insects with vivid colors in the natural world, and some of the colors produced are known as structural colors. In this program, you can see the struggles and challenges from an event discovered accidentally in the lab to reproducing the vivid coloration of peacock feathers with artificial melanin material and developing the next generation ink that will never fade. Please also pay attention to the process of creating vivid structural colors that our naked eye cannot easily capture.
